The Agi Hall needs our help! The Gabriola Agricultural Cooperative is raising funds for immediate repairs and replacements for the Hall. Our Hall has served this community for just over a half century, and while it is still solid in many ways, it is in great need of our care and attention.

Like the Taj Mahal, the AGI Hall is a much loved landmark and both have a long and storied history. In 1935 the first AGI Hall was constructed at 465 South Road on land donated by farmer Richard Easthom. It was rebuilt in 1972-74 after a fire in 1969. Since then, It’s housed countless community events and (like some of us) it is showing its age. It’s now crucial that we repair the hall – that means asking for donations to address immediate needs for some vital repairs.
AGI Hall is old and venerable and definitely worth saving. We will be repairing the building in stages.

Getting our back roof repaired- part 1 roof repair
Fixing our broken overhead lights
Replacing our broken tables
